Round End Grain Chopping block, Handmade from Cherry Hardwood

Custom, handmade round cutting board that will add character and functionality to any kitchen!

Made from Cherry, tough and durable but yet gentle on your knife’s cutting edge. Over the days and months and years, it steadily, gradually darkens to become a rich, gorgeous color.

Our round cherry cutting boards are reversible – you can use both sides.

End grain cutting boards can handle cutting and chopping better than edge grain cutting boards. When cutting, the vertical direction of the grain allows the knife to push its way between the wood fibers instead of severing them, giving end grain  "self-healing" properties.
